June 9-12, 2011 the Denver Library Central location holds a huge used book sale. Over 70K books, CD’s and movies will be sold over the weekend, including children’s books, fiction and non-fiction books.

This two day street-painting festival takes place in historic Larimer Square, where over 200 artists draw chalk masterpieces on the street. The festival is put on by the Larimer Arts Association, a non-profit aimed at promoting arts awareness and education in Denver.
